With this issue, Biophile is one year old. It has been a wonderful experience getting the magazine out there every couple of months. We have learned plenty (and still have loads to learn) and feel privileged to be able to bring the information that we do to our readers.

Building materials have undergone a speedy evolution over the past century. Standard dimensions and shapes, predictable qualities, and manufactured precision make it quicker and easier to design and construct new buildings with laserflat walls, straight and sharp corners, and glass-smooth floors.

Whether you eat meat or not (or how much) is a private matter, they might say. Maybe it has some implications for your heart, especially if you’re overweight. But it’s not one of the high-profile public issues you’d expect presidential candidates or senators to be debating – not up there with terrorism, the economy, the war, or “the environment.”

Meat holds vibrations of violence, fear, pain, suffering and death. How can we be peaceful if this is what our bodies are absorbing?

I believe that vets of the future, and our children’s doctors, will look back upon the vac­cination era with horror and shame. The horror will come from the knowledge that so much pain and misery was caused by healing professionals acting in ignorance, and the shame will come from the wilfulness of that ignorance.
