"We are constantly taking ideas from the spiritual world and forming them into our own conception of the things we desire. Sometimes the finished product does not satisfy or please us. That is because we have taken the idea away from its true parents, wisdom and love." Daily Guru

Mirror Treehouse

by

FILED IN: The Biofiles

Swedish design firm Tham & Videgard Hansson Arkitekter have used the mirror concept to great effect with this designer treehouse. Reflecting its surroundings to minimize impact on the environment, it has taken woodland chic to the next level. Of course, the sophisticated exterior, mirrors the interior which includes a kitchen, sleeping area, living area and a terrace. Bathroom? Well, you are in the forest after all!

  2. Wow, i think this is a stunning idea, however, i’m wondering if this isn’t perhaps an obvious Fire hazard? Using glass to reflect the suns rays, surely this can concentrate it onto the surrounds, and perhaps cause a fire from the intense heat?
