Great News - Dark Chocolate is GOOD for your Heart

Dark chocolate is good for your heart.  Eating one 100g bar a day can dramatically reduce your blood pressure - and it’s just as powerful as an anti-hypertensive drug. It even works at far lower levels.  When scientists tested the health-giving effects of dark chocolate

at just 6.3g a day, they found it reduced the risk of a fatal stroke by 8 per cent, and coronary artery disease by 5 per cent.

But these health-giving qualities aren’t true for all chocolate - it’s only the brands that are milk-free, and low in sugar - often known as plain, pure, dark or cooking chocolate.
